What if the NES Zapper had made it into movies?

Remember Light-Guns? Lightweight pieces of plastic that felt cheap, but cost you an arm and a leg? The NES Zapper was easily the most iconic, used to mow down people in Hogans Alley and prove to be an ineffective tool against that damn sniggering dog in Duck Hunt. But what if it had been an actual gun?

Artist Kent Sheely has answered that very question, by inserting the peripheral into famous movie scenes. Violent, awesome and somehow fantastic, the NES Zapper looks right at home here.

Note to self: The gun is only effective when pushed up against the head of a victim, real close.
