Until Dawn 08

Until Dawn is full of all the horror cliches you know and love, and that’s what makes it such a fun game. Plus, it really did scare me for the first few hours, which was all I was really hoping for; any horror game that can make me afraid to go to sleep is a winner in my book. You can read my review over here, and then go watch this rather creepy launch trailer.

I love the whole butterfly effect thing in the game, but even more I enjoyed the exploration and how finding important clues could actually give insight into what was going on and change options for the characters. Did you figure out the reason for the super creepy killings? Maybe then you can prepare yourself and survive. Or not. If you’re grabbing the game and struggle to find things hidden around environments, you might want to check out our clue and totem guides. Those guidance totems are particularly helpful if you’re trying to keep all the teens alive.

Will you be picking up the horror game and a matching pair of brown pants, or are you just too afraid? I’m loving all the PS4 exclusives this year; we’ve really gotten some excellent titles for the console that make it feel so unique. Although, considering Bloodborne and now Until Dawn, I have to wonder if Sony is trying to punish us for our choices. Such great games, but they certainly put a strain on your anxiety threshold.

Horny teenagers NOW Vs The Nathan Drake collection in October… I’d go with the 3 in one game in October

Yeah, I quite like the sound of this game…

Now if only they’d make a game in this genre, but with these famous lines in it, “Hello Sidney… What’s your favourite scary movie?”
