Two toxic pro-gamers permabanned from League of Legends
I’ll be honest here; I was really struggling to find a nicer way to report on this incident and to use better words. Because all I wanted to do was just say it like it is. I decided that it might not be the wisest thing to do, so I’m just going to tell you what happened. Riot has banned two more pro-games for misbehaving, all the details on the click through.
Europeans Ilyas Hartsema (mouz envision) and Damien Lorthios (aAa Linak) both had their accounts permabanned from the game as well as the League of Legends Championship Series as a result of continued “toxic” in-game behaviour. According to Riot’s report, these are not their first permabans. Both these players have rather questionable track records, which Riot has taken into account.
His enVision account has been punished five times, including the recent permanent ban. According to the report the “account has established an undeniable record of in-game harassment, abuse, and poor behaviour. “ In the past he’s received 18 punishments across multiple accounts, resulting in two permanent bans. And here’s the shocker:
“One previous account, shookl2, registered one of the highest harassment scores ever recorded. Another earlier account, JungleReject, received 436 reports in only 135 games.”
The aAa Linak account has been punished seven times including the recent permanent ban. 38% of the reports were for “Offensive Language, Verbal Abuse, and Negative Attitude.” Linak was reported on 20% of his total matches, a rating four times that than the EU average.
