Guerrilla Games has announced that True Blood actress Jamie Gray Hyder and Homeland actor David Harewood will be in the upcoming PlayStation 4 title Killzone: Shadow Fall. They’ll be giving more than their voices to this game.

Vaas had been one of the most memorable, brilliant characters in a video game, because Michael Mando not only voiced the character in Far Cry 3, but became the character. It makes sense that more development studios are employing the same technique to make their games better, and we aren’t complaining. Beyond Two Souls has also established itself as one of those games that we know will blow us away with their character Jodie Holmes, portrayed by and designed after the likeness of Ellen Page.

Killzone: Shadow Fall steps up to the plate next, in which Hyder and Harewood will lend their physical performance, voice and likeness to the game. Jamie Gray Hyder is best known for her performances in the supernatural drama series True Blood, while David Harewood is most notable from television series Homeland and his role as Captain Poison in the 2006 film Blood Diamond.

Harewood will become Vektan Security Agency director Sinclair in the game, and Hyde will play Echo, an intelligence operative for the Helghast.

Killzone: Shadow Fall is a first-person-shooter set to release exclusively on PlayStation 4. the game is set some 30 years after Killzone 3 where players will be tasked with keeping the balance between rival factions the Helghast and the Vektans.
