The next Assassin’s Creed game could have co-op

I knew that I shouldn't have made this an open lobby...

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that Assassin’s Creed is far from over. A fourth game is a given after that…ending in the latest one, but how to keep the interest alive in the interim? Better characters? Less of those horrid chase sequences? Ha! As if! No, what Ubisoft has planned right now, is an invitation for your buddies to come share in the glitchy fun with you.

TGL grabbed some screenshots of a survey that Ubisoft is currently conducting, which offers a few pointers to the future of the franchise. One such question asked, is whether or not gamers would like to see a partner join in on their multiplayer game session.

A second question though, is whether or not people would like to see another Assassin’s Creed III game next year, much like what Assassin’s Creed 2 did with Brotherhood (yay!) and Revelations (meh).

list

Whether they said yes or no, an annual secret is no doubt already on the cards. But as for co-op? As welcome as that idea is, to possibly have a character drop in to make playing as that sourball Connor a tad more bearable, I’d rather see Ubisoft work the kinks out of their latest entry first.

After all, compare AC2 to the Brotherhood entry from 2010, and you’d see why that specific game is regarded as one of the best in the series. How about you, would you like to team up with a buddy on your Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 to fight some Templars?
