The good, the bad and the ugly of the last week – 28 June 2013

It was a cold day. Most of the Lazygamer staff had coccooned themselves too deep into their blankets, resulting in a situation where they were warm and comfy, but would have to eventually leave their fabric chrysalis for a toilet break. It was up to me to write the weekly wrap-up. But then again, I could always outsource the work to India yet again…

Best Story

None of the staff here wins this award this week. Instead, Llewellyn Crossley gets top honours, for thoughtful and well written column on the pros and cons of the Xbox One 180 turn. Well done man, some great reading there.

Worst Story

The fungus from The Last of Us is a real thing. This is a story that included a picture of a massive spider that had just been on the receiving end of a Cordyceps bukkake blast, and will haunt my dreams for years to come.

Batman of the week

That honour goes to Geoff this week. And honestly, I have no problem with that. Because it means that everyone else isn’t Batman, and I’m not alone in my suffering. But I’ll be back in my top position, sooner or later.

Oh, you think the award is your ally, don’t you Geoff? But you merely adopted the Batman of the week; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the award until I was already a man, and by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!

Exactly right, when a woman asks if those jeans make her look fat you lie & say no, if a man asks you lie & say yes. Completely different lies & therefore not abominable. Unlike the snowman, which is abominable.
