Max Payne isn’t just about slow-motion bullet ballet and exposition-filled narratives of revenge and redemption y’know. The series has long since been renowned for its cutting edge visuals, causing many a gamer to hate that friend of theirs who could actually run the games at full specs, back in the day.

Almost a decade later, and you can bet that Rockstar Games has made quite a few more leaps towards crafting another game that boasts visuals ahead of its time, as can be seen in this video explaining how the pot-bellied, shaved chrome-dome of Max can still jump around like a madman despite his more mature age.

We’re betting that he’s a a regular at the Chow Yun Fat martial arts academy of bullets and fancy dives.
