With Gamescom only two weeks away and Geoff still to organise his visa things in the office are starting to get a little tense and some choice words about Germany diplomacy and Pretoria are now speckled across the walls. However there is still some good Gamescom news, take for example this stunning line up that Square Enix have announced.
Now I’ll get snarky Skype comments about this but I can say that I’ve never really been a massive fan of Square Enix what with their dairy farming of the Final Fantasy series and this hasn’t stopped yet with Square revealing they are going to be showcasing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Final Fantasy VII at Gamescom this year.
However the list suddenly becomes a lot more awesome when they go on to detail that they’ll also be showcasing Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution, Sleeping Dogs and Quantum Conundrum.
That’s a strong enough line up for any publisher and I’ll be sure to get hands on with each of those titles, they do then go on to announce a list of titles I don’t really care about but hope to be surprised by and these are.
Gameglobe, Koozac, Motley Blocks, Qwirkle, SolaRola and Mensa Academy. You can read more about them over at terminalgamer.
So which of these titles really stands out for you?
