By now, most of you will have finished the mammoth single-player campaign of GTA V, and are probably swearing at your TV screens right now about getting into GTA Online. So when is the sequel coming out? Well, don’t expect it for quite a while yet, as Rockstar is pretty much focused on plenty of ideas for the current game right now.
Speaking to Develop, Rockstar North President Leslie Benzies explained that the studio had plenty of ideas in store for the next GTA game. "We’ve got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Benzies said. "We don’t know what GTA VI will be, but we’ve got some ideas.
GTA Online is the focus right now. There ain’t no rest between finishing V and then Online.Plus we have some other things – stuff, DLC, I don’t know how to describe it exactly – that we’d like to do, and we’ll pick the right ones.
Benzies has a point. There’s no rush to get cranking on a new GTA right now, as GTA Online has some potential to really keep the franchise going, if you’re lucky enough to experience it for yourself that is. And with PC gamers wanting a PC port while the Red Dead Redemption franchise gathers dust, there’s plenty for Rockstar still to do

Just shows you how unjust the world is. Fifa 14 outsold them already. Once you accept that life isn’t fair, you can start playing the odds.

FIFA14 was this last week no1 in sales in the UK (total – 24% down on sales of the first week of FIFA13). By that stage GTA already sold over 1 billion. It’s just the weekly sales, that’s all.

Its true!… (lights pipe and reclines in chair) For countless centuries now, a terrible war has been ranging in the depths of the earth’s oceans… The terrible Kwadorex, a race of giant octopuses, and the fearsome Kapludos, a race of bloodthirsty killer amphibious kwaggas… Sometime in early 2033, the two warring sides will make a temporary truce to collect their dead on the ancient battleground of Gakkel Ridge, of the coast of Greenland. Ai, the Gakkel Truce it will be called, the 3 month period during which humanity’s fate will be sealed… The Kwadorex, and Kapludos will then commit their dead, as ancient ancient custom required, to the Great Void. That is, they encase their dead bretheren in styrofoam and let them float to the surface.
This will be the first time they do this in over 65 million years coinciding, by no accident, with the Cretaceous–Paleogene boundary. Only this time, Chicxulub will not be there to save the Earth. This time, the rotting corpses of the Kwadorex and Kapludos will flow into one and on October 3 2035, around early afternoon, the unholy stew of styrofoam and Kwadorex, Kapludos DNA will pass underneath the, by then, substantial hole in the ozone layer to create… (takes a deep breath) A SUPER RACE OF AMPHIBIOUS ZOMBIE OCTOPUS ZEBRAS WITH A TASTE FOR HUMAN FLESH AND MISERY!! … They, they will make landfall on October 15th after scaring the Bejeezus out of a group of locar fishermen, of the coast of Walvis Bay. Ai good friend, in 9 minutes the Earth’s armies were defeated, and 2 days later the last human will fall, while standing in line outside a port-a-potty…
