DGL

2013 is winding down and we’re all counting down the days until we skip out on work and frolic off on vacation. 2014 is almost here, and you can actually already register for next year’s Do Gaming League!

That’s right, entries are now open – the 2014 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) will kick off 28 January and registrations close 19 January. There are a whole bunch of new games available to play in 2014, too, so don’t wait on this – January will be here before you know it and you don’t want to miss the deadline.

Which new games are available? Well, we’ve got COD: Ghosts, as well as FIFA 14, and the way too addictive Hearthstone. But more interestingly, fighting games are making an appearance in 2014, with Street Fight X Tekken and Mortal Kombat 9. Also, Trackmania Nations, the free to play racing game, will be making its DGL debut.

Want to register? Head to these portals!

Please be advised that some of these are part of the Championship titles, while others are for Tournaments and League games. Depending on popularity and response, some of these titles may get moved up to Championship level. So go register for the games you love. I’m hoping Darryn finally gets involved in eSports and challenges you all to a game of Hearthstone.

I just tried it to my housemates copy of FIFA 14. It did not work.

Although I’m not sure he’ll be able to play as Manchester United anymore. Hahahahaha.

I trust there are some people in Cape Town who don’t have access to the internet but could wipe the floor with just about anyone in FIFA. Seriously. Some of these guys take FIFA way too seriously here!
