Punch crime in these new Batman:Arkham Knight screens

Oh, you think screenshots are your ally. But you merely adopted the teaser screen. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see proper gameplay until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING! The screenshots betray you, because they belong to me!

Here’s the latest batch of screenshots for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight. There’s one or two repeats in here, but honestly, seeing Batman administer percussion-based justice to the heads of ne’er do wells never gets old. Click to embiggen:

You all know the drill by now. It’s Batman ala Rocksteady, on new-gen devices and PC only. Gotham is bigger, Scarecrow has managed to evacuate the city thanks to the threat of his fear gas that makes you see Kardashians everywhere and there’s a new villian out there by the name of the Arkham Knight.

Visually, the game is just nailing it for me. I’m in love with the new batsuit, the Batmobile looks like the right mix of Tumbler practical and West Coast Customs out of Batman and Robin, while the gameplay itself has been overhauled and evolved according to Rocksteady.

Hell, I’m so damned excited for the game, that I’m even working on a new batsuit this year, heatstroke and dangerous loss of fluids through massive amounts of sweat be damned. It’s not the latest Batsuit, but I’m tackling the Michael Keaton back in black look from the classic 1989 movie. Which only has one weakness. A lack of peripheral vision.

So if there’s any crime happening slightly to my left or right, then you’re buggered.
