PS Vita games to be full priced, is this fair?

The release of our healthy cracker entitled handheld is just around the corner and while we’re all really excited to see just how awesome the PS Vita turns out to be it is a little surprising to learn this morning that the PS Vita games are going to be sold at a premium.

Currently top rate PSP games are retailing for around R250 or less if they are less high profile games. However Sony has now indicated that PS Vita games are going to be priced comparably with PS3 titles with Uncharted Golden Abyss going for 50 Pounds ($60) and Hot Shots Golf 6 going for around 42 Pounds or $50.

The big question really is whether these titles are really going to be comparable to their PS3 cousins.

Is the new Uncharted going to be a full title in the vein of Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception or is it going to be a mobile cash in with far less depth?

Personally I’m very sceptical of Naughty Dog being able to release 2 fully polished games at the same time so I’m expecting a below par result for Golden Abyss but hopefully I am totally wrong.

How do you feel about the pricing? Is it fair to charge premium prices for mobile titles or is Sony just taking us all for a ride here?
