By now most of you should be familiar with our local success story, Robert “PandaTank” Botha – the StarCraft 2 player who’s been working his rear-end off to become a world class player – and finally did so. Botha has now officially landed a CoolerMaster sponsor, joining the CM Storm roster.
The announcement was officially posted by CM Storm EU on twitter and Facebook.

Hailing Botha one of the top Protoss players worldwide, and bragging about his international training in the US, CoolerMaster also announced that he will be helping the brand fine-tune their CM Storm gaming keyboards, mice and headsets as well as getting involved in the development process of upcoming gaming gear.
“I am extremely proud to announce Cooler Master and CM Storm as my new sponsor for 2013. Cooler Master and CM Storm has shown a constantly growing interest and involvement in the e-Sports community over the last few years in terms of creating quality gaming peripherals, sponsoring teams all around the world, sponsoring major leagues such as the NASL and even hosting their own tournaments. This kind of growth and commitment shows that Cooler Master and CM Storm are not going anywhere and are here to stay. It brings great peace of mind to me as a full time player to know that I am able to represent and be supported by such prominent member of the e-Sports community. My goal for 2013 is to use this support to grow and develop into one of the top StarCraft II players that can bring home results from major international tournaments that myself, my fans, Cooler Master and CM Storm can all be proud of. I urge all of my fans to follow, support and give thanks to Cooler Master and CM Storm for giving me this awesome opportunity to not only pursue my dream but to also put South African e-Sports on the map.”, says Botha.
Botha represented South Africa at the IeSF World Championships in 2011 and 2012 with the help of the MSSA, he also represented us in the Blizzard WCS European combined nationals 2012 and ESWC 2012.
