Prepare for a bloody harvest and new loot in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Bloody-harvest

By now, you’ll have realised that Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a worthy inbetweener game until Borderlands 3 finally gets confirmed. It’s more of the same really, but there ain’t nothing wrong with that. And much like Borderlands 2, The Pre-Sequel is going to be rolling out DLC and seasonal events. And the first such event kicks off, well, a couple of hours ago actually.

Head on over to the Regolith Range with your best vault hunter, and you’ll be able to take part in the Bloody Harvest Celebration. There’s no fast travel station to get to this event, but you can find Regoltih Range in Serenity’s Waste. Once there, you’ll find the Halloween-themed mini-event, where Scavs have Jack-O-Lanterns for heads and the entire landscape has a warmer orange tint to it. Cash has also been replaced with candy, while bloody harvest barrels explode in an orgy of extra pain and fire.

It’s purely cosmetic stuff however, with characters such as Deadlift now billed as Undeadlift, but at least the Pumpkin-headed scavs allow for more critical damage thanks to their oversized noggins. If there is one draw here, it’s that Undeadlift has the potential to drop a new unique weapon, the Jack ‘O Cannon. It’s a Torgue shotgun, so it’s slow on velocity and high on maximum EXPLOSION. Of course, enemies and loot, will be scaled to your current playthrough.

Bloody harvest (1)

The Bloody Harvest Celebration runs until November 2, and it’s a nice bit of cosmetic content until the (hopefully) meatier DLC arrives.

BL:TPS continues on its trend of “copy/paste, more of the same”. I really am not interested in this, sadly. 🙁

just in time, just finished my second playthrough with Athena, time for the farming to begin & ready myself for UVHM.
Second last boss was tough as on TVHM, end game is way overlevelled, scaling in the end game is pretty tough.

Same here. i hope they fix that in the first update coming up soon. It would be near impossible to do that part with Claptrap unless I had more people.

oh its all possible solo, just need the levels and gear.
i was pretty stoked that it was so tough, the higher endgame scaling was intentional, UVHM is going to be crazy difficult.

I would try and get this if the boss fight wasn’t full of bullshit
