Noel Gallagher blames London Riots on gaming

NoelGallagher

I think we all need to applaud Noel Gallagher’s decision to enter the video game causes violence debate here, mainly because now we know it’s gone past mainstream and has sunk far enough into his rockstar head for him to react, generally meaning it’s no longer relevant.

But either way, he has reacted and here are his pearls of wisdom.

I can’t understand where their energy for these riots is coming from. We live in this age of violence – and I don’t care what other people say: Brutal TV and brutal video games are a reason for this pointless violence as well.

So in other words, he doesn’t care that it has been proven on countless occasions that video games don’t lead to violence and that the last time London rioted like this they were playing Pac-Man and listening to rock ‘n roll music, no that’s not important at all because he, Noel Gallagher esquire, knows better and knows that all violence can be put down to violent games and movies.

Let’s also not investigate whether such acts of senseless violence have are motivated in anyway by their music idols destroying hotel rooms and causing senseless havoc behind stage when things don’t go there way.
