Faith and a .45, the Bonnie and Clyde themed co-op game from Deadline Games has been put on hold. Set in 1930’s, Faith and a .45 has you filling the shoes of either the crimson-haired anti-heroine Ruby or her non-descript beau Jack, a pair love-struck outlaws – as you make your way across America, robbing banks and being bad-ass. At least it would, if it could find a publisher.
Deadline Games are probably most well known for their over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek, south-of-the-border (and likely other compound adjectives) gunslinging games, Total Overdose and Chili Con Carnage. Both games were critically well received, and it’s a shame that a developer who’s proven their mettle are unable to score a publishing deal on a fresh, interesting IP.
