The Last of Us is an overrated experience. This is one of the first things I was told after joining the team last week, and my protests were just as quickly shot down. No matter, because that won’t stop Sony from releasing one of the best PS3 titles again for the PS4. The real question is, will it run at 60fps?
Resolution and framerate are all console buzzwords at the moment, and anytime a developer has something to say about it the internet is always listening. We already know that The Last of Us Remastered is going to display at a gorgeous 1080p, but right now the question of framerate is still up in the air. That hasn’t stopped Naughty Dog from teasing it though, with a handful saying that the game is a whole new experience at a higher framerate.
Naughty Dog designer Kurt Margenau had the chance to give the game a go at 60fps, tweeting later that the experience was “transformative”.

Margenau wasn’t the only one infatuated with the game in all it’s PS4 glory, with developer Bruce Straley saying that he was even dreaming about the title in 60fps. It’s getting a bit silly now, no?

Neil Druckmann does offer a little tease there, but let’s not forget that Naughty Dog hasn’t confirmed the framerate for The Last of Us Remastered just yet; although it’s looking likely that they have managed to crack what is considered the holy grail in console gaming right now.
The Last of Us Remastered releases on PS4 on the 29th of July, for just a little less than a new release. A very little less.

This game is so illustriously overrated that I’ve finished it four times, sold it, sold my ps3, planning on buying a PS4 by the end of the month, only to have the Last of Us remastered being the first PS4 title I buy. Totally overrated.

Blasphemer! I found the gameplay flawless. It’s actually my main reason for replaying the game so many damn times. And yes, of course the story, but there’s something about being stuck in a large room with at least eight infected, little to no ammo, a brick and a machete, picking them off one-by-one, whispering “yay” I drop one without the others hearing. Play it, for I feel sad for those who haven’t yet 🙁

I’m so with you bro, this will be my first ps4 title too! The MP was also great fun just a pity not many local players meant fighting against the yanks and euro’s with their lightning fast interwebz

because they know for a fact that a very large portion of PS4 owners never owned a PS3.
The moment this version was announced I withdrew my XBONE savings and drove to the shop to pick up a PS4. As simple as that.
My poor little 360 is not getting a younger brother 🙁 The Orphan from Japan will have to do 🙂

But I just see this remaster trend getting out of hand and becoming a major cash cow, with studios being more focused on cheaper remastering of old old games than actual new ideas and fresh IP’s.

They actually had to bust their balls for this version. They did not want to do at first as it was to much time and money. This is not a PC port like Tomb Raider.
But once this copy is on my shelf then I can die a happy manchild.
I held out for this long with no spoilers yet.
As for the HALO collection on the Bone that cant even handle next gen graphics? then I understand you.
