Naruto revolution (3)

Aah Naruto games, truly you are the Call of Duty of annual fighting genre releases. Well clap your hands together and raise your fingers in weird poses, because you can bet your ass that little to nothing will have changed in the next release, but at least it’ll look pretty-no-jutsu.

So what’s the hook to get you to pre-order the exact same game sucka? According to my Bandai Namco no jutsu, variant outfits. Lots and lots of variant outfits, as well as the chance to play as Obito Uchiha:

Today is a beautiful day to be a Naruto Shippuden fan; Bandai Namco Games announced earlier lot of exciting stuff!
First things first: All the players Pre-Ordering the game will get free Samurai outfits for their favourite heroes, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. Along with that, thanks to the Rivals Editions (D1 Edition), fans will get exclusive outfits for Naruto and Sasuke: old friends exchange their get-ups for some fancy fights!

Secondly, Obito will be playable for the first time ever, in the upcoming hit Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution! Kakashi’s long-lost friend will be available on his human form and on his Ten-Tails form when he goes “True Awakening Mode”!

Here’s something that I do appreciate though: The game is getting a demo. Something that we barely see these days, with most titles preferring to opt out of that free taste of what’s to come. The demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution won’t just be an assortment of fighters, but it’ll have some online offerings available as well:

Last but not least, for all the fans out there, CyberConnect2 and Bandai Namco Games have prepared a massive surprise: a demo will be available on 2nd of July and it comes with an Online Mode available from 2nd July to 23rd of July!

If you’ve never played a Naruto game before, it’s easy to recommend the current model to newcomers. The core combat is solid and the visuals do look admittedly amazing. But for longtime fans, each new addition is more copy-paste than a university student surfing Wikipedia the night before an essay is due. Still, this one will most likely sell gangbusters when it arrives in September, otherwise Bandai Namco would have canned these games long, long ago.

So I’m supposed to believe that a character we’ve never heard of, that was introduced in a freaking FILLER segment is this huge villain….F that man…
This was just as bad as Aizen saying he planned everything that had happened in Ichigo’s life….

LOL Yeah let’s make Pain Naruto’s brother. Gosh, if it’s one thing I can’t handle is loosely introduced plot points
Ichigo is THE WORST for me. Part human, shinigami, hollow and then part Quincy…GTFO

Okay admit it, you guys are all just throwing random words together to mess with everyone else & make us think you know what’s going on.

Obito was originally introduced as part of the story of how Kakashi got his Sharingan.
This was part of the original story from the manga that was written in the gap between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.

            It’s not technically a filler.

Not technically, but it was aired as filler. EVEN THEN, he was still a loosely introduced character that had no strong or meaningful impact on the story until the revelation of his true identity. Such a plot twist cannot work with characters that are not that well established. He had a TINY part in the grand scheme of Naruto. How are we supposed to care about this person?

Obito played a huge part in Kakashi’s life , and it shows the history of obito after he got unmasked . And it shows how conflicted he feels about the reality of the current world when fighting Naruto and others . His character was pretty well established .

Ain’t a spoiler considering Obito has ALREADY revealed his identity in the anime. I’m assuming that even the newcomers in the Naruto Universe are already up to date with the anime. There’s no surprise to it.

There might be someone reading that hasn’t discovered it yet. One has to always be respectful when it comes to spoilers

I think I’ll wait until the story is finished before getting one of these games.
On the plus side the graphics will be amazing 6 years from now.
