My daughter can’t come to school she’s got to play Skyrim

In a move that makes him the clear contender for dad of the year a dad in America (Not America but rather a commonwealth country as he spelled honour and rumour correctly and Remembrance Day is a commonwealth day. More thank likely this happened in the UK It’s Canadian, thanks everyone for the updates) has sent a note to school to excuse his daughter from a massively boring Remembrance Day assembly as she’s required at home for something massively important.

Skryim.

Not only that but he continues to say she may be needed to be excused for the entire week as the war is not yet won.

This guy deserves a medal for taking gaming so seriously and we wish him and his daughter all the best in their quest to rid Skyrim of the evil dragons.

I think what I love the most about it is that the teacher who received it seems to have accepted it and then went and posted it on reddit

I'm cranky, arrogant and ever so amazingly annoying but when you get to know me you will also realise I'm honest and incredibly good at describing myself... now pass me that beer

    very good father

  • sb

wasnt written by her dad. thats 12-15 y/o girls handwritting.

You didn’t write that letter, your daughter did. That’s girl handwriting.

    Proof:
    1. Look at how the letters all line up, but they aren’t flat, they make a wave. That tells me the writer is still in school. No adult pays that much attention that specific detail, most high school students don’t either. If you did pay attention to it, you would have an even flat line from years of practice.
    2. The exclamation point half way down. Copy/pasted from Saved by the Bell logo?

    3. The flourishes are way girly. Mens handwriting tends to have more points, like narrow loops instead of trailing vines.
    3. The roundness of the letters. Men tend to have narrower more jagged handwriting.

Most people in a generation have very similar handwriting. My grandmother-in-law has the same handwriting as my grandma, and they were raised 3000 miles away from each other. Statistically you should have similar handwriting to my brother, husband, or any of my friends, not me when I was in jr high.

    I call shenanigans.

Also, i didn’t want to be mean, but you are bragging about a lie. You are 29 with an eleven year old kid. You were 18 when you had her. doesn’t sound so smart to me. Again, shenanigans.
