13.13.13 – start the Facebook mania people! This will only happen once in the history of the planet. Final Fantasy 13 will release in 2013, with the plot giving our heroes 13 days to save the world.
The Final Fantasy 13 Lightning Returns trailer has debuted, showcasing the latest instalment in the XIII series. The trailer shows off some gameplay and boss battles as well as a very agile Lightning in a Victorian style setting.
I especially like that CSI: Miami ending with the sunglasses, the only thing that was missing was the “YEEAAHHHHHH” and that song by The Who.
As most gamers would know the game has received a lot of criticism, mostly negative for the direction the franchise has taken, the loss of key developers hasn’t helped either. Can Square Enix redeem themselves with Lightning Returns? I guess we’ll find out in 2013.
