Don’t ask my why I’m obsessed with tower defense games. I honestly can’t tell you why I love them so much, but I do. And one of the best tower defense games was Kingdom Rush. Beautiful, tactical and appealing to all my OCD urges, if you haven’t played the first two Kingdom Rush games, you probably should. And now there will be another.

It was then followed up with this launch trailer:
Kingdom Rush Origins will be available on mobile on 20 November and really deserves your time and money. If you like tactics and strategy and some rich tower defense, Kingdom Rush is a must play. Besides, we all need some quality games on our mobile devices to keep us occupied. Just prepare for this game to take over your life for a bit – I can’t rave enough about this franchise.
Are you also a fan of tower defense? Can you explain why it’s so much fun? I think because I love upgrading my towers and figuring out the perfect sort of defense to place in a particular area. It’s strategic and tactical, but without the scramble of some other strategy genres. Plus, killing tons of things as they journey along a set path is just so cathartic. Are you also a fan, or too busy rolling your eyes at me? This will definitely be a day one purchase for me.

Kingdom Rush is amazing. there are two games available right now; Kingdom rush, and Kingdom rush: Frontiers. Get them both. say goodbye to your free time.

Haha I’ve got a ton of time to burn, sitting at work doing nothing is just not for me so why not waste that time playing a game, or 2, or 3, or 4. Just steam bought kingdom rush.

Yes please, dunno why but I really enjoy TD games. Think first one I ever played was a Warcraft 3 mod that supported 4 player and the Kingdom Rush series is awesome.
