How to manage multiple cities in Sim City

Mycity

We here at Lazygamer have been pretty damned excited for EA’s new Glassbox-powered, internet-connected Sim City, due next year for PC. I’m even taken – and I’d generally rather chew off my own nipples than play city builders and management sims. In this new producer diary for the game, you can easily see why.

Watch Lead creative director Ocean Quigley and his magnificent beard explain the mechanics behind building, how to maintain and make the most of your city, and the interplay between the multiple cities you can create.

No city in the real world exists in a vacuum, and this is the philosophy behind the game’s required persistent internet connection – making it a sort of city building MMO.

I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
