So if you didn’t know, getting actual Provincial and National Colours is pretty easy. All you have to do is register for the Gauteng Provincial Championships before 19 March and then get your butt to the LAN. There are nine game titles colours will be awarded for, including Black Ops 2, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and Dota 2.

MWEB will also be sponsoring the event, giving every one some commemorative t-shirts and a big bag of cash to the winners. They’ve been so generous as to sponsor R10 000. This is what the prize split will look like:

Dota 2:

  • 1st prize: R2, 000.00 per team
  • 2nd prize: R1, 700.00 per team
  • 3rd prize: R1, 300.00 per team

FIFA 13:

  • 1st prize: R1, 250.00 per player
  • 2nd prize: R750.00 per player
  • 3rd prize: R500.00 per player

StarCraft II: HotS:

  • 1st prize: R1, 250.00 per player
  • 2nd prize: R750.00 per player
  • 3rd prize: R500.00 per player

Wish i could get national colours for something I was good at. Like procrastination, or not getting calls back for jobs I have applied for.
