Hearthstone iPad

Sometimes, the platform truly makes the game. Sure, almost anything could be played on PC or console. But I have a feeling that when Hearthstone makes its home on iPad, it will be unstoppable. I mean, it got Darryn addicted – and now certain regions can share in his obsession.

According to Blizzard, Hearthstone for iPad is rolling out in Australia, Canada and New Zealand, with more regions to join in the fun soon. Why are they only launching in these regions?

Launching Hearthstone in a limited set of countries allows us to focus on the end-to-end player experience and make sure it’s awesome before we move on to the rest of the world. If you don’t live in Australia, Canada, or New Zealand, you don’t have much longer to wait to get your hands on Hearthstone for iPad—Murloc Scout’s honor.

It sounds quite cool – your Hearthstone collection and data is shared across devices thanks to battle.net. This means that you can play on your PC (or Mac), then take the show on the road with your iPad. Before all of you start asking – Hearthstone is in development for Android, but we don’t know when it’s coming. Same is true for iPhone.

Will this change things for you? Is this the way to get addicted to Hearthstone, or does it still ‘just’ seem like a card game to you? I need to try to battle with my battle.net account again – seems every time I want to play something, I get locked out of my account. I really just need to get that authenticator sorted out – I have a feeling Hearthstone might break my Threes addiction.

This seems like the perfect platform for this game

      Yeah.
If I had an iPad I’d look forward to getting it.

Wana get one. I have a Tab 2.0 and while I love android and all waada waada, would much rather prefer an iPad over it. Hell even an iPhone over the S3 that I have. The homgenous nature of iOS devices is just much more appealing to me. Don’t care much for any subculture notions that might be attached to it as well

Samsung’s android stuff is sold on brand loyalty alone…. My Tab 2.0 was my last Samsung mobile device. 🙁 I’ll also get an IPAD next, or possibly another brand android, but I’m slightly gatvol of all the issues I’ve had with android, and especially the Samsung stuff. The amount of apps available on android means nothing to me, I only use 3 -4 non standard apps.

As for Hearthstone, don’t care… Played beta for a day, then wen’t back to playing real games 😛

Lol yeah, most people don’t even know what it truly means to have an android device. An iPhone and Samsung phone is the same to most people. Hell I don’t even fully use my phone. It’s so finicky as well. Might as well go iPhone really, better games too lol

And lol This is a real game too..kinda. Found it to be boring?

I have very limited gaming time, way too many games on PS3 / PS4 already. It’s a case of I chose those consoles for my gaming, and that’s it. Sold my gaming PC 2 years ago as well, because it became an overpriced internet browser…

I’m sure Hearthstone will be fun, but I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything if you know what I mean hehe

I can’t wait for this! When my gf steals my laptop from me to play Borderlands, I can still jam some Hearthstone! Awesome news!
