Hearthstone finally lands on Android

Hearthstone is one of this year’s standout mobile game, even though it’s been out exclusively on Apple devices for months now. The game works far better on the go, and acts as a devilishly terrible distraction from everything else you’re probably meant to be doing during a regular day. So if you’ve been avoiding it purely because you can’t stand Apple, then you’re in trouble.

That’s because Blizzard has finally released Hearthstone on Android tablets. The free game is out worldwide already, so it should be near the top of the list when you open up Google Play or you could just follow this link. It’s identical to the version you’ll find on PC and iOS, including the recently releases Goblins Vs. Gnomes expansion.

Newcommers and veterans alike will also be reward with one free pack of cards after playing a single game. I’ve been playing the iOS version for months now and still maintain that it’s far superior to the desktop version in every way. Having the option to play on the go and have controls that seem far more natural with touch makes Hearthstone on tablets an extremely easy sell.

So if you’ve been waiting patiently for this to arrive on your flavour of Android tablet, then you most probably have it already. What do you think so far?

You need a 6″+ screen to play it.

It works on a screen size cap.
If you have a rooted phone with a decent size screen you can get it working ok. Ive been playing on my note 2 and aside from the odd delay here and there, it works fine.

90% of smart devices are fukking android smart phones. Jesus wept can Blizzard get it any more backwards.

    or
they are targeting the morons with more money than sense, first the
apple kids, then the morons who think you need two devices to look at
    cat pictures.

All good games and apps come to iOS first.. I personally think it’s because of the less piracy on the iOS platform or the fact that there are a billion different flavours of Android that make coding for it a massive ballache

yours lovingly, a happy iOS user 🙂
