Polarfluke has given MyGaming its SECS for cash. The Dota 2 Sunday Evening Cup Series is back for pro teams and social teams alike. This time, instead of just a platform for Dota 2 players to improve their skills, the winning team and runner-up will receive cash prizes sponsored by MyGaming.

This independent tournament is open to all registered MyGaming forum members as well as those who aren’t; the matches will also be live-streamed with commentary. The winning team will earn themselves R1, 500 and the runner-up R500. It’ll be very interesting to see how many local teams register for this tournament, as there are currently 117 teams registered for the Do Gaming League.

MyGaming has invited the community to give any feedback on the tournament on their forums, the thread can be found here.

For those teams who’d like to register, you can sign up at this link. Registrations close before 4pm on Sunday 10 February. Here is the schedule:

Week 1:
Registration Opens: 28th January 2013
Bracket Play: 10th February 2013

Week 2:
Registration Opens: 12th February 2013
Bracket Play: 17th February 2013

Week 3:
Registration Opens: 19th February 2013
Bracket Play: 24th February 2013

Week 4:
Registration Opens: 26th February 2013
Bracket Play: 3rd March 2013

Week 5 (Playoffs):
Tiebreakers for top 8 (if needed): 5th-6th March 2013
Playoff Bracket: 10th March 2013
