Grow Home 2

We didn’t hear too much about Grow Home – it seems like the announcement and launch came one after the other. While I’m glad that they didn’t over hype it, I also wonder if this game will fly under the radar without any promotion. Still, the launch trailer is rather adorable.

It certainly looks incredibly cute, but I’m already fairly convinced that I will be awful at this game. I’m just not great at platformers in general, and I have a tendency with 3D platformers to go falling off in a direction that I never meant to go. Then again, that might not be so bad considering this description:

Grab a gamepad and use the trigger buttons to control both of BUD’s arms separately as you climb your way through the sky on the Star Plant. Climb onto the branching Star Shoots and control their growth to create a new path toward one of the many floating islands. Make sure to watch your grip on the plant; it’s a long way down. Luckily for you, you’ve got a handy flower parachute to help you soften your fall. You’ll also be able to access teleportation pads to make your journey a bit easier.

The game is now available on Steam for $8 although I will probably end up waiting for it to come to consoles. This looks like something that belongs in my PS4 library. Let’s just hope that it makes it to consoles. Have you already grabbed this on Steam? Am I missing out by waiting?

Well, let us know when you’ve “found your inner cabbage” so you can return to being the go-to MOBA dude 😛

Pffft, after having played Valiant Hearts and Child of Light last month, I have the biggest soft spot for Ubisoft and their “indie-like” titles 🙂

I’m aware of the reality here. But as per usual I reject reality and replace it with my own imaginings.

It’s way more fun this way.
