Get a birds eye view of the new Battlefield 4: China Rising DLC

Like this but with Geoff screaming about immersive extreme fish

Battlefield 4 is out, and it’ll be adding some new DLC with which to show off and tell all those damn COD fans to stop having with their game. So what do those new maps look like, if you happen to be freefalling face-first towards them?

Redditor Andersso threw the new shots up yesterday of the China Rising DLC maps. The maps show off a top down view of the Guilin Peaks, Silk Road, Altai Range and Dragon Pass. Click to embiggen:

The China Rising DLC is out December 3 for premium members. Study these maps and know your choke points. Plus give Nick De Bruyne hell, because he just loves it when tankies come after him.

Because he's the writer that Lazygamer deserves, but not the one it actually needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can't take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a loud-mouthed journalist, a watchful procrastinator. A dork knight.

In case you missed it, the XB360 and PS3 versions of BF4 is currently on special at Takealot

    • Unavengedavo(aka. MadeYouLook)

Are you getting a cutback for these announcements?

      • Admiral Chief Duke

The Admiral does not take cutbacks

Incase everyone else missed it, Origin had the PC version for sale for R299 last night/this morning.

      • Verrayne

I bought it. But it will take 111 hours to download on my 2mb line :(

        • Maxiviper117

You better hope you dont get throttled

          • Verrayne

Decided to download it at work. took 2 hours for all 24GB..

Although most people complained about slow internet at the office. Don’t know why.

        • Matthew Holliday

i bought dragon age origins ultimate edition from the origin sale, which was also 26gb, but Origins download speeds are ridiculous, and the telkom upgrades kicked in so i was rocking 4mb.
Origin was downloading at 1.6mb per second.

I’ve had the game since launch, still haven’t been able to finish a single round due to game-breaking bugs and issues. Thanks EA, keep your DLC.

      Must be on PC

      My singleplayer crashes like clockwork
but my multiplayer has been pretty much 100% stable over the past week or two.

    • DOA

yea?, I play fine for most games (on PC), still have the odd crash but not very often..

      • Kensei Seraph

I read that as “I pay fine for most games…”

    • Kerrits

      AMD or Nvidia?
      Latest drivers?

I had lots of crashes in the very beginning. Getting the latest drivers for my AMD gfx card made my game close to bulletproof.

    • Maxiviper117

I find it hard to believe you havent FINISHED a SINGLE round since launch, even with all the glitches which most of them were fixed last week. I experienced hell during the launch yet was still able to squeeze in alot of matches but since last week, crashes have become very rare on my PC.

Hey hey hey hey… If you don’t know what Darryn is talking about, its this GIF I put up this week titled “My reaction when I’m playing Battlefield 4 and I realise a tank is coming my way”
