You know how awful it was when twitch played Pokemon? It took them ages, spawned a bunch of memes and was finally completed. Now, there’s a new player in the seemingly random approach to Pokemon, and it makes us not want to live on this planet anymore.
Trust the internet to always take things too far. Here is Fish Plays Pokemon, a twitch channel set up that lets a real live fish play Pokemon. Go on, watch it. I dare you.

Want to know more? Grayson has been playing for 125 hours and caught one Pokemon, a Charmander named AAABBK. I don’t know what’s worse, the premise of this idea, or the fact that at the time of writing this, over 6 600 people are watching this stream. Do people really have nothing better to do?
I think we should do our own stream. How about twitch plays Dark Souls? That’s one way to kill everyone. Or perhaps we could do twitch plays Tetris or twitch plays Civilization. There are so many other, better options that could be really intriguing and lead to a much more interesting narrative. This is just… slow and boring and pointless. Yes, random inputs can eventually beat Pokemon – now let’s make it interesting and pit random groups of strangers against each other in twitch plays Mario Kart. That I might just watch, and participate in.
What do you think of this? Just a passing fad, or kinda entertaining?

Twitch plays RuneScape Oldschool was already done it failed people kept killing it & take it’s items. It took them along time just to move off the first screen as you had to type a space to start the game & no space command was programmed. The account was constantly flaged as being a bot & locked permenatly many months ago.
