Apparently all the remakes of Oz-based movies, mini-series and whatnot have caught on. American McGee sees fit to use Oz lore to make his latest steampunk game… and I must say that I’m intrigued, except for the zombie part.
Maybe it is my fascination with all things American McGee does, but I like this idea. He will be launching the Kickstarter soon, but for now you can check out all the info on the official Facebook page. Think the Wizard of Oz, gone steampunk, plus zombies.
Here is some concept art that I find cool – nothing is final or anything, so please view everything as just impressive doodling.
Spicy Horse will also be Kickstarting their next Alice story – depending on where the support lies it seems that Ozombie might end up as the priority.
What do you think? Yet another zombie game, or maybe something worthwhile?

Wait a minute I remember talk of this as far back as 2002… I must say as beautiful as Alice was it was a yawn to play a pity as I was mad about the art direction.
