Poor THQ. Despite having a few decent licenses left, the publisher is still in dire straits, and not the type that includes swinging sultans. Fat-trimming, promotional events and downsizing haven’t been much help, so what’s an ailing company to do? Why get down and humble of course.
THQ is hitting the PC market with a humble bundle of their own, that will allow players to pay what they want for several of their PC games. Here’s what’s in the pack.
- Darksiders
- Company of Heroes
- Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
- Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
- Metro 2033
- Red Faction: Armageddon
- Saints Row: The Third (if you pay over the average price)
And that’s actually a pretty damn good deal. Right now, the average price for the bundle sits at $5.70, or about R50 for the whole package (That’s what she said). Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon are pretty much worth the price, while Saints Row 3 is GTA dipped in LSD. And most of the games come with their soundtracks as well.
And remember, all proceeds go to charity! Which in this case, is probably a craftily-named THQ hidden amongst the legit ones.
Big thanks to Matt Matt, Ma-a-a-att, Matt Matt, Matt Matt Matt Mattttttt Hurst for the link.
