Dragon age inquisition 02

Our wish has been granted – at last we have a Dragon Age Inquisition date. And there’s even a gameplay trailer to accompany it – wow the game looks as beautiful as I’d hoped. You just have to watch.

Holy Bioware that video is impressive. For those who don’t watch videos, we get a glimpse into the gameplay and the world, as well as some of the backstory. My favorite part is what appears to be a big, burly smart-mouthed companion. Oh, and I suppose the actual dragons attacking. Yeah, it all looks rather pretty.

So, the game is coming 7 October 2014. Will it be everything we hoped for? Well, it certainly looks like it. The characters seem varied, and I’m liking what I can glean from the storyline. Besides, with visuals and audio like that, it’s sure to be a breathtaking experience. I seriously need to play this on my next generation console. Of course, that means transferring all my save data from my last generation console using the Dragon’s Keep, but it will be worth it.

Anyone else making this an insta-buy? I know EA has lost a lot of credibility, especially with the Dragon Age franchise, but I can’t help but think that this one might just redeem them. The trailer made me feel all tingly – I can’t wait to see what Bioware has done.

Depends on a lot of things. Mostly because this is being handed to us by Ea’s dirty, oily, unwashed, hairy, money grubbing hands. But that trailer though………

You are drinking the kool-ade. Don’t start anointing this as the redemption of the DA franchise based on a video that shows no game mechanics at all. There is still plenty to be skeptical about.

As with all new games, wait a while and get the game and all the DLC for less than the original game. It’s the only way to experience the full game for a reasonable price. You just never know how much of the game has been carved off into DLC to make extra money until they release it all.

Yeah I am a year behind now on games but once you get into the cycle it’s the same, new games every year just a year old. You get the GOTY edition with all the DLC for original price or less.

and you don’t play the game and then they announce some coll DLC you would wished you had when you played but don’t feel like playing again just to include the DLC… Isay wait until the entire game is released before playing it……

“wait a while” wtf does that mean? 😉

unfortunately, I am looking for an awesome RPG game for a while now. Not that many out there that fancy my taste.

I was one of the few that enjoyed all the DA games so far. So it will be hard to wait 😉
