We’ve all been excited for Dragon Age: Inquisition. The game has tons of cool features that blew me away at E3, and you all loved what you saw from the footage that they revealed. Now Bioware has announced we’ll have a wait a little bit longer to actually play it.
As irritating as delays can be, it’s far more frustrating to play a game that could have been awesome but is broken instead. EA has developed a reputation for releasing games before they’re ready, and I’m just glad to see they’re taking the extra time if they need it. According to Mark Darrah, Executive Producer on the game,
This last bit of time is about polishing the experience we want you to see. Ensuring that our open spaces are as engaging as possible. Strengthening the emotional impact of the Hero’s choices. And ensuring the experience you get is the best it can be in the platform you choose to play on.
Reading between the lines, it seems safe to assume that the story needed some tweaking, as did the platform-specific details. Perhaps it’s more about resolution-gate or framerate-gate; or maybe Bioware knows they have to get the exploration and ending right this time around. Fans of the series love to play the games, but get very upset when standards aren’t met. While I think we are all sad to hear that we have to wait even longer to get our hands on the game, I’m glad that when we eventually do, the game will be better – just remember how it worked out for Watch Dogs. Besides, at least this frees up October a bit, making that month slightly less ridiculous when it comes to games launching in that period.

Well, its takes more skill and time, so naturally the reward should be more. Since Adam is not happy with his Augs and what he became, he tries to hold onto his humanity, by being non lethal. Just my take on it

I agree, but I got a sweet silenced sniper rifle as part of the CE and I never used it once since I wanted to get as much exp as possible.
It was pretty disappointing.

So they showed it to EA and all the different dungeons confused them, so they were sent back to condense the game to just one dungeon that could be explored over and over again.

Technically, you’re not agreeing with the creative vision for ME3.
Willem Swanepoel
July 23, 2014 at 13:06
Very creative vision, red, green, blue ;-)~
If you compare the quality of their other RPG endings. DA:O , ME1&2 etc. then it was not that impressive.
Still, ME3 was a brilliant game, had epic moments, moments that I will never forget.
Kromas
July 23, 2014 at 16:37
Most people were upset about the lies. There is a quote from an interview where they said and I am paraphrasing here ” [other RPGS]… have endings A,B and C. Our game will not follow this route and all your choices throughout the series will change the outcome.”
Brady miaau
July 23, 2014 at 12:36
Yeah, look. It had an ending. Define as bad is your choice. I loved it and I believe the majority did not mind the ending.
Willem Swanepoel
July 23, 2014 at 13:07
When they redo the endings part it was acceptable 😉
ME3 was still a brilliant game for me. Bad endings does not make a break a game…
Anyway, I was just joking about the delayed part.
