I’d love to get this, BUT, a few things to convince me not to:
    – Oobi
    – Possibility of terri-port
    – Lag
    – DLC

But then you’d have to buy the game to stab it in the face. Isn’t that sort of defeating the object here?

Would be awkward if he changes his mind later on.

Remove the whole prep/uav phase and enlarge the map a bit and you have Counterstike. 😛

We have to preorder the game to play a demo of the game to see whether is something we would want to buy? That’s like being allowed to test drive a car after signing the papers.

Exactly, how else would you do business with Ubisoft? Are you mad?

It’s Uplay. Most games have a strict No Play policy if the client has the slightest hiccup.

Nope, never again shall I be fooled by the mark of the UbiBeast… I have fallen trap to their mischievous endeavours too many a time before… Not even if it is coated in berry flavoured chocolate tart with a sprinkle of finely chopped cherries and a Christmas hat…

    They do. They really do.
But then the focus on Multiplayer just puts me off it again

rainbow six has never intrigued me in the slightest.
tom clancy games generally miss the mark.
the original Ghost Recon was legit, but since then, the only thing that looks exciting, is The Division.

i dont know which niche this is supposed to pick up, its a weird gap between counterstrike and battlefield, but smaller, much much smaller.
    and less exciting.
rainbow six, and all its predecessors, misses the mark.

dont even car that its oobi.

I played it for the main story line. In my eyes it was never anything in the lines of CS or BF because the main attraction was the Single Player story and campaign. They used to stick rather true to how Tom fanned out his stories and characters in the books, so I liked that.
I, for one, am a huge Rainbow Six fan. But now that it’s being made into a multiplayer focused game I also have little to zero interest in it.

Take that back right now! Rainbow 6 Vegas (1 and 2) were some of the best tactical-co-op shooters ever. That’s right, EVER!
