Does Call of Duty Black Ops 2 have a zombie campaign?

Still no Rob Zombie Ops option. This makes me sad.

Gamers love them some zombies, and much like a necrophiliac in a plague zone, they just can’t get enough of the shambling undead. Call of Duty scratched that itch with gamers back when they bundled a Fourth Reich of of zombies in Call of Duty: World at war, and continued including them in their Black Ops game. That feature has been multiplayer-centric however, and never a part of the core game. But signs point towards the alternative for the upcoming sequel to Black Ops.

A product listing up on Amazon has revealed that the game might have a single-player component that adds in some zombie flavour, possibly as an optional mode, or as it’s own solo mode that would pit future tech against the classic horror.

zombie

As can be seen above, the line “The inclusion of a Zombies in gameplay, both in as an option in multiplayer, and as a campaign option”, is highlighted. So how would this mode work? Our money is on Black Ops 2 continuing with a horde mode of sorts, or some sort of switch that turns the regular bad guys into flesh-eaters in the Spec Ops mode window.

What do you think? Have you had enough of the ankle-biters yet, or does some zombie content get you more pumped for the game?
