Now that Disney has crushed my dreams of a Star Wars game where I could play as a kickass bounty hunter in the underworld of that galaxy far, far away (I’LL MISS YOU 1313!), it’s up to DICE and EA to keep my interest in that franchise alive. They’re already working on a new Battlefront game set in a more civilised age. Just don’t expect it to feel anything like Battlefield
Speaking to Videogamer, Battlefield 4’s executive producer Patrick Bach explained that DICE was still looking to find the right vibe for the game. Should it be more like Battlefield, or closer to Battlefront? DICE didn’t know:
We haven’t really locked that down yet. I think there’s of course a part of the DICE DNA to build the games that we’re building, but then again we’re building games like Mirror’s Edge as well. So I think it will be a challenge for us.
[You’re] damned if you do, damned if you don’t. People don’t want another Battlefield with Star Wars graphics; they want a Star Wars game that is proper.But then again, if you compromise brilliant design choices from Battlefield just because you’re not allowed from some kind of moral standpoint, then I think that’s also wrong. We need to make the best game possible. What that means in detail, we will see.
I tend to agree with Bach. It’s a catch-22 sensation, and if you can’t please everyone, then you’re going to need to satisfy as many people as possible. That being said, I would like to see some Battlefield evolution seep into Star Wars Battlefront.
Despite having a silly name, Levolution could work beautifully here, and who wouldn’t want to blast Stormtroopers or those filthy sister-kissing Rebels in the face with some crisp visuals? Most of all though, I hope that DICE raids Skywalker Sound to really deliver some audio oomph to the 2015 title.

It is debated for years. To be personally honest with you I prefer the “She did know” scenario based on the “Old Ben Pervert” theory.The theory goes that a Jedi can direct his/her life “force” towards an object or person when near death. It is the reason Obi Wan can and does appear in front of Luke on many occasions and even interacts with him (use the force Luke). He also knew Leia was Luke’s sister yet he did not pop up and tell Luke and thus either A: Enjoyed the show or B: Incest is okay in Alderaan.

I should note that my favorite character out of everything is Mara Jade Skywalker from the Timothy Zahn series of books. Kyle Katarn is a close second followed by Han Solo.

If you haven’t already read them, look up the Republic Commando series by Karen Traviss. A lot of Star Wars fiction is pretty dire & juvenile, but those are really well written, with a damn good storyline.

That was a great game, thoroughly enjoyed it. The books based on the clone Commandos were surprisingly good too, well worth looking up.
