Greenlight may not be a perfect system, but it’s still a great idea on the part of Valve. The system sees folks vote on which games they’d throw down some cash for, with Valve allowing those public-approved games onto Steam. A whole bunch of new games just got the go-ahead for Steam, including local violent ‘em upper Broforce.
Broforce, which sees players take on the role of various cult classic action movie heroes from across the ages is one of 16 games that has met the Steamy criteria of Valve. With that approval now done and dusted, well done to the lads over at Free Lives for securing over 82 000 votes.
Here’s the rest of the games that made it through as well:
- A Hat in Time
- Among the Sleep
- BROFORCE
- Centration
- Chasm
- Darkwood
- Deadly Premonition: the Director’s Cut
- Dexster Audio Editor
- Divekick
- GraphicEditor openCanvas
- Operation Black Mesa
- Project Awakened
- Recruits
- Rekoil
- Shelter
- StarMade
I’ve been digging BroForce so far, but well done to everyone else who made it as well. I’ll probably be keeping an eye for all of you when the Steam Winter sale arrives, because I’m a cheap bastard.
