Bloodborne patch fixes game breaking bug

Bloodborne CD6

From Software makes games that are really difficult. However, that difficulty should come from the actual design of the game, not bugs and glitches. Alessandro already told you about a game breaking bug, but don’t worry, it’s gone now.

Bloodborne has rolled out an update 1.02. It doesn’t have the fix to loading times, but it does deal with some other issues. Here are the official patch notes that you get from hitting the options button on the download on PS4.

Fixes the issue of not being able to obtain the “Lunarium Key” once the user partakes in online multiplayer as a co-operative guest by using the “Small Resonant Bell” or as a hostile guest buy using the “Sinister Resonant Bell” in the area, “Forbidden Woods.”

Bug fixes

So, you can now co-op without fear of being unable to progress in the story. However, be aware that those “bug fixes” include fixing that duplication glitch that could be exploited for unlimited blood echoes. Win some, lose some, I guess.

I am glad that they fixed the game breaking bug, I just hope that they’re also working on those loading times. They were cited most frequently by reviewers as the only major thing that could detract from the game. Once that’s patched and fixed, Bloodborne might just be the best possible game that you could get. If, you know, you’re into those types of games – as much as everyone is raving about Bloodborne, that doesn’t mean that everyone will enjoy it. At least those who are loving it can do so without fear of the game breaking bug – let’s just hope that the loading patch comes within the next week or two.

Firstly, you need a PS4 to even get this game.
Secondly, you need to actually enjoy this kind of game.

I fell into the trap of “THIS IS AWESOME” with Dark Souls. Never again will I buy a souls game. So fucking boring.

    tl;dr: Don’t care.

Edit: That’s not a reflection on you Zoe, you’re still cool. Just the game I don’t care about. XD

Applies to all games really. I was told Dragon Age Inquisition is amazing, but hardly enjoyed that shard simulator 😛

But then on the other hand, people have been hating on Aliens: Colonial Marines. I got that game release day and have not looked back since. Great game!

For me it’s Fifa, Gta5 and UFC in that order!

From what I’ve seen it looks just like Dark Souls, but with the defensive style of play missing. The defensive style I really enjoyed.

Hey. I dig Dark Souls man. Don’t hate on the people that do enjoy this type of game 🙁 We have feelings too. Those feelings are also more fragile than most others due to the insecurities of our constant deaths….

Being a gamer that tries to enjoy games as much as I can, I don’t think this title would be one I’d be getting… Simply because holes, the shape of controllers, are extremely difficult to wash out of a television screen….

Loved the Cleric Beast fight, I got him first time go as well. Course that was after dying 15-20 times without ever getting past the werewolves (and sometimes not getting past the torch mob, lol). After a bit though it just kinda clicked. Can’t wait for today to be over, wife will be out of the house for a bit.

Also, I will say, after beating the Cleric Beast, I took a break (partly cause my heart was racing, partly cause I wanted to switch out games), and other stuff just didnt seem as exciting. Is that normal?

I ran past everyone and spammed him with molotovs. Yeah it’s normal, these games can get very tough and stressful. But no other games gives you that rewarding feeling of accomplishment when you kill a boss.

Cool, yeah it took me forever to find my way around, so I was constantly getting murdered by villagers. Never played a Souls game, so wasn’t aware of the running past things bit. Plus I like to clear areas out (never leave an enemy behind you, lol). Yeah I played some FarCry4 and Castlevania SOTN after BB and it just seemed so easy. I might be ruined, lol!

The problem is they always respawn. Found you could run faster by holding O hahaha. Killed the second boss last night. He seemed easier than the first mainly because I could time my gunshots to stun him better and then use the front stab for massive damage
