Blacklight: Retribution and Primal Carnage are headed to the PS4

I'M A CLEVER GIRL!

Go away Elizabeth, you can’t hog all the glory today with your personality, emotions and polygons! We’ve got a brand new next-gen console on the way in the form of the Playstation 4, and it looks set to launch with a damn solid line-up of games. Also, battlin’ dinosaurs.

Announced on the Playstation blog, the Playstation 4 is set to arrive at the end of this year with two games that aren’t from the first party Sony stable.  The first of these games, is Blacklight: Retribution, a sequel to Blacklight: Tango Down. Blacklight: Retribution is more than just a pretty shoot ‘em up though. It’s completely free as well. While that will most likely come with the extra cost bells and whistles, it looks rather decent, and it also happens to be the first PS4 game that was made from the Sony Pub Fund, according to Joystiq.

Next up is Primal Carnage, which you might remember as a lacklustre game that somehow stuffed up the idea of battling dinosaurs. The asymmetric multiplayer gameplay from the original game is being ditched in favour of a more single-player experience, and will apparently have a storyline attached to it as well. Also, it’s all running on the new fancy-pants Unreal 4 Engine.

Look, we all know why Tyrannosaurs are so angry. I’d be mighty peeved as well if I had to go to the bathroom and be cursed with arms that could barely reach my zipper, let alone my gentlemen sausage.
