If you naively thought that you’d get to play Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on PC at the same time as all your console buddies, you can put that thought right out of your mind.
Speaking with Elder Geek, Game Director Ashraf Ismail stated that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will release on PC’s a couple of weeks after the console releases.
“PC will come a few weeks after [the console versions], we’re working hard on the PC version. It’s one of the main platforms we work on in the office.”
This of course should come as no surprise to us, since this happened with Assassin’s Creed 3. It looks like the reason for that is that PC might get a little bit of extra love this time round, not that Assassin’s Creed 3 didn’t look absolutely stunning on PC.
Ismail also mentioned that he might be wrong, but he probably isn’t. Yeah.
If you missed it yesterday, our resident Ghostbuster-to-be did a fantastic interview with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag creative director Jean Guesdon at E3, in person. Where you can find out the fate of Desmond, why pirates were chosen, the reworked combat and the deal with naval battles.

I’m thinking the graphic quality to be more cinematic

I’m guessing it has more to do with them making more money off the console versions than PC, and hope people that have a console & PC will buy it on console to play it day one.
