Nowadays, collectors editions are a standard bonus for upcoming games. We’ve seen plenty over the last year or so, with quite a few editions announced for upcoming games such as Mass Effect 3 and Max Payne 3.
The latest shooter from Gearbox seems to be joining the trend now, thanks to some leaked pictures captured by French site Gamekyo, for the upcoming game set in the Aliens Universe. Full pic after the jump.
Tons of DLC, a dossier of information, an extra game mode and a big, resin statue of the cargo bay loader that also happens to double as a nifty fighting tool for Xenomorphic queens? Sounds like a great collectors edition so far.
Publisher Sega has yet to confirm if this is an official CE though, so take the news with a pinch of salt.
