Ubisoft has released an all new 14-minute gameplay video that shows off more of the open world elements of the game.  It really looks impressive, and I’m getting excited about this game. I particularly like how they’re using reputation.

Here is the video:

For those who can’t/won’t watch the video, we get to learn more about the differences in neighborhoods – not just according to architecture and design, but also the characteristics of its inhabitants. During free roam, you can see crime unfold and decide if you want to intervene or leave it be. This will determine if you are seen as a hero, or a menace to society. Depending on citizen’s perceptions of Aiden, they will help or hinder when the police are searching for him – in this video we see the clerk at a gun shop set off the silent alarm after the TV news reports on a recent crime in which Aiden is the primary suspect. If the player’s reputation is higher, he might not have triggered the alarm.

I’ve got to say, the game is looking seriously interesting and well thought out. I’m not excited about driving in the game, mostly because I’m horrible at game driving, but I’m definitely amped about the variety of ways players can approach game play.

Been an issue for a few weeks now, audio rewind a few seconds image freezes until audio “catches up”.

Some shared memory issue with flash plugins or something seem to affect all browsers on Windows, there is a manual fix where you dig trough some setting files. Didn’t have the time or patience to try it yet.

Don’t need ’em, Samsung S4 and Kinect 2.0, they’re sorted.

EDIT: When I say Kinect, I mean the one in your house, and yours, and yours…
