Looks like Hammond Robotics was not a branch of Top Gear after all, as those teaser videos from that fictitious company introduced two new classes for Titanfall.
At the Spike VGX Awards last night, Respawn Entertainment debuted the following two new mechs. First off, the Ogre:
And then second, the Stryder:
Kaiju beware! The Ogre looks like your typical heavy class, which sacrifices speed for power and strength, while the Stryder goes in the opposite direction and trumps the other Titans with agility and quick moves.
Should make Titanfall that much more interesting when it launches next year on Xbox One.

I still don’t see the appeal of Titanfall (or as I like to call it the unholy spawn of Brink, Call of Duty and Mechwarrior), but the VGX did make me aware of Hello Games’ No Man Sky. If those guys can pull it off, then we might have a pretty awesome little indie space exploration title on our hands.
