We here at Lazygamer are pretty damned enthusiastic about Firaxis’ resurrection of one of the greatest strategy games of all time, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. We’ve previewed the game at Gamescom, as well as at home – and it’s terribly addictive, with in-game choices that are impactful and have meaning.
There’s a demo for the game up on steam – but if you’re strapped for cash or bandwidth (or might be planning on getting the game on console) here’s a pretty clever interactive trailer for the game, showing how some of those choices might pan out.
I really like this sort of trailer; interactive trailers for an interactive medium just…makes sense. XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next Friday, October 12.
