The PlayStation 3 version of Bethesda’s bug-ridden open-world opus, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a little incomplete. It’s missing the extra downloadable content that’s been officially added to other versions of the game. Bethesda’s been struggling to get the DLC working on Sony’s machine – much to the chagrin of PlayStation owners. That’s soon to change – and it’s about bloody time.

Sony and Bethesda have announced that all of the released DLC – Dragonborn, Dawngaurd and the odd –build-your-own-home DLC Hearthfire will be available on the PS3 by the end of next month.

“Over the last year, it’s been a treat for us to work on new content for Skyrim, and we’re excited that it will soon be available for everyone to explore,” Bethesda said.

This should be great news for those of you who’re still keen on Skyrim..and have managed to not burn their discs out of disgust. Oh, as a bit of a bonus, the DLC will be discounted by 50% during launch week; it’s almost as if Bethesda are trying to put out new fires before they begin.

Anyway; any of you PS3 Skyrim players who’ll be grabbing this “new” content – or this just a case of “too little, too late”?
