MAAK SOOS A MOTORFIETS!

Much like sports, I have absolutely no idea what to actually write about when it comes to activities featuring two bikes travelling really fast. So I’m going to wing it. The next iteration in the franchise has returned home to MotoGP 08 developer Milestone Studio, after the closure of Monumental Games who had been in control for the last four years. And it looks like Milestone wants to reinvent the genre.

According to CVG, Milestone has a brand new engine in store for the game, that boasts the usual “redesigned graphics”, physics, bike handling and environmental modelling, so that you know when you go face first into a wall that it’ll be like totally legit.

Career mode also sports some new features for the gladiatorial racing game of the heavens (That is MotoGP, right?), which will will “bring players into the 2013 championship through the eyes of a real MotoGP rider”, and includes a full season of bikes, racers and death-traps tracks.

As for online enthusiasts, iconic racing moments are being promised as well, as those players will get to take part in a chance to “re-create exciting events – inspired by reality – to MotoGPs classic elements”. Meanwhile, I’ll be using the Kinect feature that I just made up to make like a motorbike and shout “EK IS A ‘N BLOU LIG! BLOU BLOU BLOU!”

Right now, the game is scheduled for a June release on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Here’s the official announcement trailer, which adds absolutely no relevant information to this story.
