E3 2013: Call of Duty: Ghosts–Watch Riley in action

The big added feature in this years Call of Duty is the dog companion, Riley. From what I’ve seen on the Internet and from chatting to people the dog is going down quite well with the fans but I have to admit I’m not totally sold on the idea.

I’ve never been a fan of the stealth levels in game and with the dog it feels like a perpetual stealth stage.

The take downs are pretty awesome and I love the way you can breach a room with the dog, that rocks.

So what do you think, are you looking forward to building an emotional attachment with Riley or are you the type who will keep trying to shoot the dog to see what happens?

Ok were the staff of the ASPCA ( American Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals) involved in the game or present in its development?

But on a lighter note Battlefield 4 single and multi-player looks better

What really bothers me is that you don’t see his handler having a small bag to clean up behind the dog. That’s irresponsible!

It’s a bit Hollywoodified, but it’s not that far off from what I heard.

How would you tell the dog to keep quiet when he wants to rip throats out?

as an extreme and ridiculous fan of dogs I am definitely getting this. I bet Riley dies in the end to give it that bit of emotional kick ‘tween the legs. I will probably cry too.

Nah,, it’s gonna take more than a dog to compete with the new Battlefield…More of a novelty feature I’d say…Certainly not something to be campaigning about…Although, it hasn’t been done before so who knows how it’ll impact the game…

What’s that Lassy, there’s a Sgt. Marine trapped down a hole with an IED strapped around him? Oh, he’s broken his leg? Oh, there are terrorists surrounding his position? Oh, Lassy, not on the side of the Jeep…
