Agent

At 2009’s E3 conference, Sony announced that Rockstar was working on an exclusive game for Sony’s PlayStation 3. Since then, we’ve heard almost nothing about the game, which could easily lead us to believe the game’s been binned.

During its annual investor call, Publisher Take 2 confirmed that the game, in development since 2007, was still very much in development phase and will be gracing PlayStation 3’s one day. It’s rumoured that we’ll be seeing some footage of the game in action at Sony’s E3 press conference  this year. Agent is set in the Cold War of the late seventies, and introduces players to  “the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations.” It was scheduled for release in 2010, but has been delayed for some or other reason.

Rockstar itself and its parent publisher Take-Two have no plans for E3 this year, putting a damper on the rumours of a GTA V reveal. Will Agent make up for that?
