GW2 Shadow of the Mad King Halloween event

The Guild Wars 2 Shadow of the Mad King Halloween event has kicked off. All kinds of tricks and treats promised. To update my game for this, or not? That is the question.

So MMORPG tradition has always been to incorporate global holidays like Christmas and Halloween events. I personally love them to bits! The collectables, the in-game events, the overall atmosphere. Ahhhh good times. Guild Wars 2 has got a very interesting story behind their Halloween event, it’s all about some nutcase king who got chopped up by his nutcase kingdom and then comes back once a year. Act 1 (22 – 25 October) is all about tricks and treats. Candy, costumes, decorations and jokesters, new events and haunted doors are all part of the fun.

The Black Lion Trading Company will also have some awesome items on the Gem store. Costumes that grant you spooky skills, tonics that transform you into ghouls and ghosts and creapy crawly minis to follow your scary ass. There are also some free devil horns available, but only for a limited time.
