FIFA 14 box art revealed–I see Kramer

Switched at birth?

The FIFA 14 box art has been revealed and unsurprisingly it is showcasing Messi again.. however I will readily admit that I didn’t recognise him and got him mixed up with Kramer from Seinfeld.. which didn’t make much sense.

But thankfully EA haven’t completely lose their mind and have in fact used the world famous football player on the cover again this year.

Once again he will be joined in the different regions by players uniquely famous to that area, unfortunately I think once again we’ll simply get the English version and won’t get to see someone like Bernard Parker or Eric Mathoho on the cover of our copies of FIFA 14.

For the European copy I’d love to see this one

FIFA14Europe

You have to feel bad for Ronaldo, the second most talented footballer the world has ever seen and he’s in his prime at the same time as the worlds most talented footballer. I mean if he was born 5 years earlier or later he’d also have a ton of Baloon d’Ors as well.

Anyway here are the three copies, start mocking the FIFA milking machine and then go cry in the corner as EA Sports counts their billions.

FIFA 14 Packshot PC FIFA 14 Packshot PS3 FIFA 14 Packshot XBOX

By the look of the covers you are going to want to pick up the PS3 copy as it has more flags… and less Kramer hair.

God … why do they always look like they about to transition into Super Saiyan on every single box art. When I look at Fifa Covers I always tend to think it’s going to be a crossover with a fighting game. Fifa X DBZ …. Fifa is getting old now … What I need is Shoalin Soccer!!!. Inazuma 11 is far better than this generic yearly game

Ever play “Nintendo World Cup” on the Snes? It was oe of the Crash and the boys spinoff games, and it was pretty much shaloin soccer. Loved it as a kid (even though I played the Japanese version)

No offence, but there really is no love for football on this site ne’…sad actually…I’ve been playing Fifa since 95 and there are certainly advancements with each year…This notion of the Fifa Milking machine is silly and uninformed…

funny thing is it’s pretty much Gavin’s favourite game in the entire world. He’s an absolute FIFA nut. (even though he sucks at it)

I’m a huge football and FIFA fan. The comment about the milking machine relates to our comment section where it gets a lot of abuse.

FIFA is the only franchise I purchased every single year long before I had this site. And it’s still the one I head to first at trade fairs.

But as Geoff said, I suck at it.

Fair enough…No harm intended…reassuring feedback indeed…It’s an exciting time for football games…huge jump in 2013 renditions in terms of playability features…Looking forward to the next gen stuff….

Same – Haven’t owned a copy since FIFA 09 (I think, might be 08) and that looked pretty crap on my PS2 compared to the marvellous PS3 version the shops kept on subjecting me to. And yet every game store – that’s the game I look for first. No idea why.

And I am physically incapable of walking past a console display in a shop if it has FIFA on it. I stop, and play (if possible) or stare (if not). I swear I even turn a little green …

To be honest – the FIFA games may be the ONLY reason I will buy a console. That and the Last of Us … Except why would I buy a last gen console – kids are turning 5 now; but when they start to play it; they’ll just demand the next gen. But then I miss out on the Last of Us … aaaarrrggggghhhhh *curls into ball screaming in anguish over the unfairness of life*

Oh, and Gavin – when do you next plan to go to Ridgeway?

I love Fifa. I just wished that they would make the new fancy console features available on PC too.

I would most likely enjoy Fifa a whole lot more if the ball was explosive and all the players had guns.
